While Dujardin is almost completely silent throughout The Artist, the actor still had to speak his lines while being filmed. But since the film used cards to relate the dialogue, it didn’t matter what language he spoke. “Sometimes, I acted in English, sometimes in French,” he says. “And sometimes, I was just speaking complete gibberish.”

Just finished reading the article about James in Entertainment Weekly’s Entertainers of the Year issue

I have so much respect/admiration for this man. UCLA, then graduate programs at Columbia & NYU and now Ph.D classes at Yale? Author? Artist? Director (on the path, at least). Also very easy on the eyes. Next we’ll hear that he’s opening his own restaurant or something.
